OPEN COMPETITION POINTS

The OPEN COMPETITION POINTS program is for all AHAA members competing in any official open competition. For example; all-breed horse shows, cattle penning, 4-H shows; cutting horse events, open reining, open working cowhorse events, etc.

Each event must be an officially organized event, judged (timed), and the form must be signed by the secretary of the event.

There is an annual high point award presented each year to the Open Competition Champion.

You, and the owner of the horse (if applicable) must be an AHAA member in order to qualify for the high point award. Points are accumulated as soon as your membership is paid in full.

The Open Competition Points form MUST be returned by to the AHAA Awards Committee Director by September 1.
